The blue bus drives at 80 km/h on the Autobahn. In the drizzle, a little steam comes out of the roof – that’s where the fuel cell is installed. If this is not enough as a hint, the stylized molecular structures that decorate the bus will inform you: This bus is powered by hydrogen. In front next to the driver is Philipp Glonner, the co-founder and managing director of Arthur-Bus from Munich: “Hydrogen is expensive when it’s green,” says Glonner, who studied at the TUM Munich and has already managed several start-ups alongside his job at BMW founded, “our vision was therefore to reduce consumption.”
