Mitch Evans won the first of two London ePrix. Despite the signed pole and the victory, Evans could not fall behind Jake Dennis. Especially since the Avalanche pilot Andretti took advantage of a zero point from Cassidy and his second place to have enough points in the pilots’ championship. His 3rd place this afternoon after an ePrix marked by rain and a long time either at a standstill or behind the safety car consolidated his title.
Cassidy by winning ahead of Evans and having taken pole scores 10 points more than the Jaguar driver. He thus secured 2nd place overall, but above all, he gave the title to Envision Racing, with his teammate Buemi (6th this afternoon). Amusingly, Envision Racing is a Jaguar powertrain customer. When the customer team does better than the engine team! What’s even funnier is that Avalanche Andretti is on the podium, under the nose and beard of Tag Heuer Porsche, which supplies the American team with its engine.
The next season should have 17 races (16 this year) and start on January 13, 2024 in Mexico City. Something new, Formula E will go to Tokyo in Japan. But the season will still end at the end of July 2024 with a double ePrix in London.

Driver’s Championship 2022-2023
In the driver’s championship, Dennis is therefore titled ahead of Cassidy and Evans. Wehrlein, who has long been a favorite, missed his end of the season and finished 4th ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne. The Frenchman almost lost his 5th place in favor of Buemi who succeeded in his end of the season with Envision.

Team Championship 2022-2023
In the team championship, Envision won ahead of Jaguar, Avalanche Andretti, Porsche and DS Penske. Maserati ended its season on a high note and overtook certain ex-leaders in the electric series. Among the disappointments, there is Nissan, 7th, but especially Mahindra Mahindra who vegetates in 10th place, far from the first seasons of Formula E when the team was 5th, 4th or even 3rd.
