Ford Motor Company and PSA Peugeot Citroën plan to increase the
production capacity of 1.4 l high-tech diesel engines,
1.6 l and 2 liters from their cooperation agreement.
This collaboration will allow both
partners to reach the world’s leading manufacturer of
diesel engines, while generating economies of scale without
industry equivalent. It also allows them to offer a
wide range of common rail diesel engines equipped with the latest technologies
most recent. More than 4 million high-tech motors
Common Rail will have been produced as part of this cooperation at
success between early 2002 and late 2004.
