As we know, Lamborghini has begun its electric transformation, since the purely thermal V10 models have launched their farewell tour. The future of the bull will be hybrid and electric. This “something new and exciting” fits with Monterrey Car Week, where Lamborghini had already announced its intention to present a new model.
For now, we have to make do with a fairly dark image, where just the upper part of the vehicle’s profile is revealed. If we recognize certain characteristic features of the bull, with a very plunging bonnet, marked fenders, a grazing roof line and a narrow glass surface, we see that the bodywork seems much smoother and more refined than on previous models, which leaves suggest an electrified model whose aerodynamics were guided by the imperative of efficiency. We also note that the glass part is much longer than usual, which suggests that more than two people could board it.
The return of a Lamborghini 2+2?
This leads speculations to be in favor of a GT 2+2 model, a grand touring car that would revive Lamborghini with a vanished tradition, dating back to the 70s with the Urraco and other Espada, not to mention the 400 GT 2+2 of the 60. Lamborghini had tried it with the 2008 Estoque concept, which offered an alternative to the Porsche Panamera and other Maserati Quattroportes.
