FCA US was recognized by Motor Trend in the SUV, Truck and Person of the Year 2019 categories.

Motor Trend's ¡°Of the Year¡± program is open to any 2019 model year vehicle. Instead of comparing each other, vehicles undergo various tests that assess virtually every aspect of vehicles. All competitors are then evaluated in three courses at an automotive test center before selecting finalists.
¡°For 2019, the Ram 1500 and Jeep Wrangler won over Motor Trend editors and judges not only for offering class-leading workmanship but for impressive levels of refinement, technology, style and comfort.¡± said Ed Loh, Editor-in-Chief of Motor Trend. "Congratulations to FCA on the winners."
"Sergio was a special leader who rescued Chrysler and Fiat, saving hundreds of jobs worldwide," added Loh. ¡°He was a man who didn't do something unless he was convinced that he will succeed. Sergio Marchionne did the job and left an indelible mark on the automotive industry. ¡±
After weeks of testing, the judges determined which vehicles would be recognized with the title "Of the Year". Winners are not chosen by direct comparison to other finalists, but by evaluation criteria: design advancement, engineering excellence, efficiency, safety, value, and performance.
